Science Laboratory Technician
Required for January 2024
Part time (50%), term time
It is a hugely exciting time to join the newly formed Halstead St Andrew’s School – a partnership between Halstead Preparatory School and St. Andrew’s School that started welcoming pupils in September 2023. Our two partner schools are already well-known and well-loved within the local community, and we want to build on these strong foundations.
HSA School is an exciting and successful prep school that emerged from the merger between two local prep schools and now combines the best of both schools since September 2023.
Do you want to join a friendly Science Department, providing support to the science teachers? You will be responsible for the preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons, together with maintaining the science laboratories and preparation rooms and ensuring equipment and services are in good order.
Experience within education is ideal, in a school or laboratory environment, and the ability to demonstrate effective time management, excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour.

The role is part time (50% term time) and is flexible. Ideally, you will be here every morning (Mon-Fri) but this is negotiable. There will be days at the start of each term when you are expected to attend our INSET days and prepare for the start of term.
