Former HSA pupil success at international Cheer competition
A former pupil has achieved international success after competing at one of the world’s most prestigious youth cheerleading events.
Abi C travelled to Orlando, Florida, during the Easter break to take part in the Prep and Rec Grand Nationals, a major competition that attracts top young athletes from across the globe. Representing the Diamonds squad — part of the AllStar cheerleading club based near Cobham, Surrey — Abi and her teammates had earned their place at the event after qualifying for their first overseas competition last year.
Facing strong international competition, the team delivered an impressive performance, finishing second in their division. Abi’s category featured 14 teams, highlighting the scale and competitiveness of the event.
Abi’s club has previously described the competition as the pinnacle of achievement for prep-level cheerleaders, and one of the most decorated events available to athletes of this age group.
