We know the admissions process can feel overwhelming — that’s why we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Whether you're joining in Nursery, Reception or further up the school, our admissions team ensures a clear, personal experience tailored to your child’s journey.
Step One: EnquireWe welcome you to get in touch with our admissions team to express your interest and ask any initial questions. We’re here to listen and help you explore whether Halstead St Andrew’s is the right fit for your child. |
Step Two: Visit and TourExperience our warm community first-hand with a personal tour or by attending one of our Open Mornings. You’ll meet our Head, explore our facilities, and see the school in action. |
Step Three: Taster DayTo help your child settle in and feel at ease, we invite them to spend a taster day with us. It’s a chance for them to meet their potential classmates and teachers, and to experience the rhythm of a typical day at Halstead. |
Step Four: RegistrationIf you would like to proceed, we’ll ask you to complete a short registration form and pay a registration fee. This officially places your child on our admissions list for the relevant year group. |
Step Five: Offer and AcceptanceFollowing the taster day, and depending on availability, we will make a formal offer of a place. Once you accept and return the acceptance form with the deposit, your child’s place is confirmed. |
Step Six: Welcome to HalsteadWe’ll stay in close contact in the lead-up to your child’s first day. You’ll receive a welcome pack with everything you need to know — and our staff will be on hand to ensure your family feels fully supported as you join our community. |
